I would like the site to be ... The final design will be responsive to the ... I would like the sidebar (which should remain on the right hand side) to be clearly separated (via a different background colour) from the main content as it is here: ... I love the blue colour used for a couple of the buttons in the existing site's sidebar and think it could work well as an accent colour for the design in ... I also like the use of greys in the existing ... I think that texturing these colours in some subtle way (rather than them just being block colours) would look ... Subtly utilising the birds motif featured in the logo elsewhere (as it is currently in the "Read Full Story / Comments" section below each post excerpt" on the site might work ... I'm open to suggestions and inspiration when it comes to ... It's important the fonts are readable (especially the main content text) but I'd love to see what interesting combinations you can come up ... As long as it's not Comic Sans! ;-) Generally speaking, I want the design to be clean with plenty of white space, with simple, selective and elegant use of ... The focus should very much on (a) getting the reader to sign up to the email list and (b) showcasing the content -- everything else should take a back ...

I would like a new blog homepage to be created for Leaving Work ... The new homepage design will be utilized to change the design across the rest of the ... The contents of the page will be largely similar to what is currently on the ... There will be a header (utilizing the existing logo, although feel free to edit it to suit the design). The navigation bar should contain the following links: Home, About, Community, Resources, Hire Me, ... It should also contain a search bar if ... I'm not against the concept of the header and navigation links being combined somehow (for instance like it's done here: ... I would like a full-width feature box directly below the navigation bar that advertises signup to my email list (with a free PDF copy of my manifesto bundled in), similar in style to ... and ... It should really dominate the screen above the ... The content section should contain ten blog posts with manual excerpts as currently displayed on the ... The sidebar should contain the following widgets: an email signup form, Resources button, "Paid to Blog" online course button (this will soon be replacing the Successful Freelance Writing Online button that you can currently see in the sidebar) and Popular ...
